Heavy Duty Lift Tables' Technical Information and Accessories

TECHNICAL

A. MECHANICAL:

1. Wheel and Dolly Set - A wheel and dolly set is used for moving empty lifts only and is available on lifts with minimum length platforms. The wheel and dolly tongue are mounted on the end of the base frame.
2. Caster Wheels - Caster wheels are used for moving empty or loaded lifts with any size platform. Two wheels are swivel and two wheels are fixed. Caster wheels can be end mounted or side mounted which increases the lift lowered height by approximately 5-1/4", or the caster wheels can be mounted under the base frame which increases the lift lowered height by approximately 11".
3. Bevel Toe Guards - 8" bevel toe guards are required by OSHA for lifts recessed into the floor and increase the minimum platform width by 8" and length by 8".
4. End and Side Loading - Reduce the lift end and side loading capacities by 2% for every inch added to the standard minimum platform width or length. Reduce the lift end or side loading by 33% if loads are going to be rolled onto the platform when the lift is other than fully lowered.
5. Caution - When a lift is raised, very heavy loads should only be moved over the roller end of the lift.
6. 5' of hose is provided with each lift to run between the lift and the remote power unit. Approximately 5-10 gallons of DEXRON III are to be provided by the purchaser.

B. ELECTRICAL:

1. Standard voltage is 230/60/3. The motor supplied with the lift will operate on 208, 220, 230, 240, 440, 460, 480/60/3.
2. While single phase operation is not generally recommended, 230/60/1 motors are available. (110/60/1 not available.)
3. Power units are remote from the lift and are equipped with mounting brackets.
4. Power units are equipped with continuous duty motors.
5. Continuous running power units may be required for high cycle up-jogging operation (consult the factory).
